Entender se vuelve caro.Understanding gets expensive.
Ahora se puede hacer sin entender. Now you can do without understanding.
Companies are getting used to the speed of the machine. If a task can be finished in two hours with the help of artificial intelligence, the task is worth two hours, and whoever takes longer is behind.
Writing code by hand was slow, but understanding came included, doing and understanding were the same act like walking and getting to know a place at the same time. Now you can do without understanding, and so understanding became optional.
A programmer named Peter Naur wrote that a program lives in the heads of the people who wrote it. When those people leave, the program dies, even if the code keeps running and the way that code stays alive is the power of metaphors, of telling them. Like Captain Salazar who sank the ship but always spared one man, so he could tell the story.
Understanding gets expensive.
What if companies get used to demanding more in less time?
Is it on us to learn to understand at this speed?
Being aware while we do, that's the work no speed can do for us.
